| A PATH OF THE "ROTTWEILERS" The Rottweiler came from breeds of Roman combat dogs,the local shepard dog,and the northern wide jaw English and Holand dogs.In the Medieval era, it was known as the "metzgerhund" (butcher's dog) of Rottweil honoring the small city with the same name. On January 13,1907 the DRK " The Rottweiler Club" was founded.Soon after on April 21,1907 the SDRK "Southern German Rottweiler Club" soon after receiving the name of IRK "International Rottweiler Club" was founded. At the ends of 1919 clubs separated to stablish a new club.
